Every once in awhile, an opportunity comes along through this blog that makes my heart happy. This particular event with C.I. Castro made my wallet happy as well, but we’ll get to that in a minute. Cora was invited, along with several of her blogger baby friends, to strut the runway in gorgeous holiday dresses that make a mother beam and a dad cry. These gowns can typically be found in Dillard’s, Macy’s, and similar department stores, but who knew that they’re manufactured right here in San Antonio?! We had the opportunity to tour the factory and see how they design each dress to suit a particular little lady’s fancy.
Amongst all the tulle and taffeta were styles that would be perfect for Christmas, baptisms, Easter, or just your regularly scheduled Tuesday tea party. Cora was lucky enough to take home one dress as a thank you for her participation, but I ended up purchasing another dress because the price was almost too good to be true! I’m telling you, this is where to buy holiday dresses in San Antonio. These dresses retail for around $70 depending on the size, but if you swing by their warehouse they have them for just around $25. Isn’t this what having a little girl is all about? I realize this completely goes against my feminist nature, but there is something about dressing up your little girl in loads of girly colors, ruffles, and big bows that is just irresistible.
