I have fantasies of living in Paris and being totally swept away by baguettes and Renior. Lately, I’ve fallen back in love with my favorite french singer, the beloved Edith Piaf. If you don’t normally listen to vintage french music, you might not get my love for her. But just listen to the passion in which she sings this song, “L’Hymne à l’amour”, to her lover that had died in a plane crash the year before this song was written. It gives me goosebumps every time. To me, this is what love sounds like. So, to suit my romantic mood in my french fantasy world, this is of course what I would be wearing while perusing Manet at the Louvre with my lover. I hope you enjoy!
