I’ll admit it: I’m a total sap anyways, and being pregnant has made me cry over just about anything. The other day I was driving to work and this song came on the radio…go figure, I started tearing up. Granted, my darling husband just left a few days ago for work and I won’t see him for about a month. I’m vulnerable, gosh darn it. Not to get on a soap box, but this tune exactly describes how I feel about marriage. It can be so hard at times, but as the song says, “That’s what the promise is for.” As much as people say they don’t need that piece of paper, it really does change your relationship to be married in the eyes of God. You’re in it for good, and you know you’ve got somebody on your side for life. There are so many things to learn from each other, like how to be patient, how to love unconditionally, and just simply how to grow up. Ok that’s enough, I’m crying again. Listen and weep.

This song makes me want to wear something romantic on a stroll with my husband. Low heels are a must since we’re pretty much the same height, and I love the allure of a classic sundress. What’s your go-to outfit for date night?
