Under the Influence: Criminal by Britney Spears

For some unknown reason, my taste in music has leaned towards the clubby, pop anthems as of late, and I can’t say I’m even embarrassed. It seems that Britney Spears is the latest artist to catch my ear. Just last night as we were walking out of a restaurant, her song “Criminal” drifted by and I could not remove it from my head until I went to sleep. If you haven’t heard it yet, just take a listen:

So what sort of outfit goes with a piece of Britney musicality that grabs hold of your eardrums and won’t let go? I like a pink biker jacket to give off the “It’s Britney, B*&$h” attitude with a pop flair. The House of Harlow boots would be perfect for the bike scene of the video, and for general butt kicking. How amazing are the skull drop earrings? Even though they are inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean, no one will question you when you look this fierce.
