I have an announcement to make, dear readers…I’m PREGNANT! Yup, you will now be seeing the occasional maternity wear, beauty tips for preggos, and possibly reading a few hormonal rants. My husband and I are so excited to grow as a family, but I’m a little nervous to grow in the midriff area. As any of you who are moms know, the first trimester involves some funky happenings in the belly region, and it’s not always attractive. I’m talking about bloating, people.
So while I’m stoked to be going on a little anniversary road trip this weekend, I’m not thrilled about the unpredictable changes my beach body is going to be enduring. Thus, I wish I could have either of these J.Crew swimsuit cover ups shipped to me overnight. Perhaps we’ll have to find a little outlet along the way. What a pregnant woman wants, a pregnant woman gets, right?

The tribal print and coral tone of this tunic make it a perfect addition for this season’s summer wardrobe. At $78, it’s certainly not cheap, but since it’s J.Crew at least you know it’s good quality.

I love that this one doesn’t look like your every day cover-up. I can totally envision walking into a beach side restaurant after a day on the shore and not feeling awkward at all. The drawstring at the waist is perfect for accentuating the waist I’ve still got, and the ruching at the top is positively darling. The best part is, it’s only $48.
