At this point in the pregnancy game, I’d be lying to you if I said that I feel like a glowing orb of life. By now I resemble a beach ball, in multiple areas of my body, and most days I make it home at night with a lovely amount of swelling in my feet. Lovely, right? So this week, all I want is for my little one to keep on trucking along, make his/her appearance when he/she is ready, and to give Mama a little relief from the puffy disasters that are my toes. If that’s just not possible, these house shoes are calling my name, and I don’t mean for just inside the house:

Soft, comfy, and the stripes are a slight upgrade from other, more boring house slipper options. They’re $88 from J. Crew, and if you’re concerned about how much use I’ll get out of them, I have two words for you: maternity leave.
