Okay, so I screwed up… I totally forgot to write my Thursday’s blogpost… err… on Thursday. Sometimes life gets in the way and we get biizzayyyy! But I haven’t forgotten about you.
So as I’ve mentioned before I’ve been growing out my locks for some time, but it’s time for a little trim because my locks are locked up in knots as we speak. I hate to make a run to the salon for just a haircut when I know I want the whole nine yards as well. What might I want to get done, you’re asking, right?
Right.
Well, I want to look like J.Lo.
Who doesn’t?
But seriously, I want her beautiful honey brown and caramel streaked hair color. This color is so beautiful. It’s very caramel blonde around the face, but still a light to medium brown throughout. It’s brightening to her tan skin without looking overdone or unnatural. I want this hair color, but let me tell you how not thrilled I am about the financial commitment to this…
you see, I grew up a hairdresser’s daughter. While my friends always said that must have been awesome, it kinda wasn’t because I always was the LAST to get the hair cut and you never reeeeaallyyy get what you wanted, cause your Mom liked to interpret your instructions. However, I am grateful for the years of free haircuts, dye jobs, and highlights. So grateful.
So the idea of spending over a hundred dollars to obtain this look makes me queasy. YAY, real life!
