It’s official. I’m old. All I want this week is a pair of floating shelves to finally complete my fabulous home decorating in my living room. We have a projector (it’s actually pretty cool) instead of a TV, so we need shelves to place on the back wall so the screen is basically the size of a small country. I’ve picked out these online, but I’m open to suggestions for store-bought options, so let me hear it!

Yes, the colors are super bright on these, but you’re never too old for a splash of fun, right? The hubs might object to these, and to their $150 price tag, but have no fear, option 2 is here:

Still the $150 price tag, but they look tres chic, non? And with the top and bottom surfaces, we could fit even more chicness. Plus a projector. I know it sounds very lame so I’m gonna have to send you all a picture when the look is completed. I swear I’m not crazy, just old.
