If there’s one thing I think all women can agree on, it’s that accessorizing an outfit is FUN. It doesn’t matter if you’re ultra-feminine, bare necessities, or rocker chick to the max, there’s a style out there for everyone. And adding a simple stud earring or glam statement necklace to a look can complete change the tone of how you feel. Lucky for Haute in Texas readers, you got a sneak peek of the Stella & Dot Fall Collection this past Thursday at The Oxygen Room! If you weren’t able to make it, have no fear! April of Pure Happiness Photography captured the sparkle and shine of the evening for us beautifully.
Bloggers, media, and fashion lovers alike united in the bright and open space of the salon for some bubbly and sweet treats. Tucked back in the chic lounge area, Christina Welch displayed the newest collection for all to sample and savor. Tribal-inspired jewelry is still very much on-trend, as are earthy gemstones like agate slices and marble. In tune with the Neiman Marcus fall trends as well, gold was simply everywhere, with only touches of silver or rose gold here and there. I personally like to mix metals so my silver wedding band isn’t completely out of place, so don’t worry if you have a favorite silver necklace you can’t let go of! Stella & Dot is also featuring several chokers and bolo ties that will have you neck and neck (pun intended) with Kendall Jenner for most stylish décolletage.
For my look of the evening, I paired a simple floral shift dress from Silk and More with a sleeveless trench from J. June that I’ve featured here before. My booties are by Jeffrey Campbell from last season, and I’m so glad I’m finally able to bust them out again. And then of course I layered on almost every piece of Stella & Dot that I own, plus this gorgeous set of the Quill layering necklace and Quill drop earrings to match. They each highlight one of my favorite things about the line: virtually every single piece can be worn multiple ways, with pieces removed, pieces added, etc. It means you’re not just purchasing a single item of jewelry, you’re almost always getting three for one! My tote is even from Stella & Dot, so don’t forget the collection includes sunnies, bags, scarves, and more! Attendees to the event were also able to pre-order from the brand-new Covet collection Christina shared with us, which is going to feature 14K gold and real diamonds!
