While I don’t always focus on wearing the most trendiest of accessories (sometimes personal preference trumps what’s “in”, especially when it comes to handbags and sunglasses. However, this fashion season, we bore witness to several new trends, and some former emerging trends that have officially come full circle. Here are my top choices for incorporating a few trendy accessories into your wardrobe next Spring!

1. Tiny, Lady-like Handbags

The clutch is back! We saw several designers have a focus on small hand-held bags that are lady-like… if not downright dainty. I loved the take on the camera bag from Proenza Schouler, and the unstructured clutch with the thick wristlet, from Chloe.

2. Cat-Eye Sunglasses

The best part about this look is that these glasses work on nearly everyone’s face PLUS they definitely make a statement. You’ll be able to find these come spring in varying degrees of “cattiness” from the extreme at Proenza to the refined, but funky at Prada.

3. Bold Necklaces

Statement necklaces never go out in my book (I LOVE them!) however, we was an official return to the runway for  bold collars. These two different styles, one from Donna Karan, the other from Dior, should show you that a statement necklace can be both funky and elegant. A little something for everyone!
