Am I the only mom that worries about my kids remembering activities? I feel like I’m in a holding pattern just waiting, waiting, waiting, and wham! My kids are old enough so we must do ALL. THE. THINGS. I know I have memories from preschool and kindergarten, so I’m betting Cora is going to start remembering some of the things we’re doing this holiday season for the rest of her life. That’s 1) extremely exciting and 2) a lot of pressure! It means if we go and have a blast, she’ll remember it! BUT if we go and have a terrible time, she’ll ALSO remember it! I used to have the ultimate excuse that eh, she won’t remember this. But that card has been taken away. It’s bittersweet. Ha!

Two weekends ago we got a surprise visit from Daddy, who had a few days off from his basketball season in Mexico. It just so happened that we were scheduled to visit SeaWorld and their special programming for the holidays anyways so off we went! We’re so lucky to live in a city with a Six Flags, SeaWorld, and an amazing Zoo. There’s never a shortage of themed activities around this time of year! This year alone we’ve done SeaWorld in the summer, for Halloween, and now we would see what the park looks like all dressed up for Christmas!

Turns out, there are over EIGHT MILLION lights throughout the park, reindeer, photo opportunities, themed holiday shows with the animals, and even dinner with Santa and Mrs. Claus! You may have seen the whole day on my Instastories, and then you know we had a blast! If you haven’t seen anything yet, enjoy the photos below, and Merry Christmas!

Horrible scanned quality of these photos, but we couldn’t resist! The photo with Santa is included as part of your meal price! What a deal, and how hilarious is that sleigh photo? I definitely need some tips for photos with holiday lights, though, they are impossible!

The dinner at Mrs. Claus’ diner was delicious, the lights were magical, and the cherry on top of the evening was a beluga and dolphin interaction that was set to Christmas music! SeaWorld’s holiday celebrations are set to run through January 2nd, so if you have a chance to make it over there, I highly recommend it!

XO,

A

P.S. I received complimentary admission for my family in exchange for this post. Don’t worry though, all opinions are my own!
