My head has just been reeling and I have been more plugged in than I have ever been before– all the bring you the best coverage of New York Fashion Week that I can. Okay, maybe it isn’t just for you, I guess you could say I love it! Any excuse to be plugged in to what the fashion world is churning out is a good excuse for me!

With that said, here are my favorites from over the weekend!

1. Diane Von Furstenburg

I am a huge DvF fan, and this Spring-Summer collection was EVERYTHING. Seriously, it was mah-jor. Yeah I sound like Rachel Zoe, but sometimes there aren’t enough words  to describe how these things make me feel. Alas, I’ll try. It was as if Mad Men’s Betty Draper went on an African Safari, was killed by an uber-talented seamstress Lioness, than reappeared circa 2011 with a perfect bouffant, all  Teen Angel style to sing “Beauty School Drop-out.” It was just beautiful, fun, retro, but surprisingly modern and elegant all at once. Breathtaking. The mixed patterns, bits of sparkle, simplistic whites, kimono belts, mega draping, and the perfected slouchiness stood out amongst a sea of undoubtedly beautiful clothes  lacking true design and vision  that we’ve seen from many of the designers so far.
