Okay so I have a very wimpy closet that until recently has been shared with my husband. It’s large enough to technically be a “walk-in” but you literally only had space to walk in. I’ve got a dresser that stays in there and was at a weird angle, leaving me only enough space to use about half of it, unless I pulled out my big box full of seasonal shoes every time I needed to dig for something. Needless to say, it wasn’t practical. The hubs has been so great with the adjustment to living with a total girly girl– but I can tell he was occasionally suffocating in misplaced nail polish bottles, random necklaces strewn about his collection of video games and fine literature. So we made a joint decision to split closets, which left me with lots of freed space. I shifted my dresser to the back wall,  and am using the top to hold my favorite boots, my jewelry trees, nail polish, go-to accessories and make-up. Everything I need in one neat little space.  I plan on supplementing my shoe box with a rack for some of my nicer heels and the same pairs of flats I wear all week long. I also hung an over the door hanger on one of the poles to hang up my favorite purse and a few scarves. It’s easy to slide around if I need to get it out of the way. I also plan on adding a mirror to give me a place to touch up my make-up or brush out my hair. What are some of your tips and trick for improving upon tiny spaces?  Got any additional ideas for my space? I’d love to hear them!

XO,

K
