My favorite mall in San Antonio is hands down La Cantera. To the point where we chose our house partially based on its proximity to all that La Cantera and the Rim has to offer. Call me a mall rat, but it also happens to be a downright beautiful place. Now there’s going to be even more reasons for me to love it when H&M opens tomorrow! Join with me, San Antonio women, in a collective, “FINALLY!” Rumors have been swirling about this store pretty much since I moved to San Antonio four years ago, and the day is finally here!
The other day I was
walking by drooling in front of the soon-to-be store and a group of youngsters walked by. One of the snotty high school girls was apparently answering someone’s question as to what H&M was, to which she replied, “Oh, it’s just ok, they do have great colored pants though.” …I’m sorry, but what?? I almost stopped the girl and literally shook some sense into her. First of all, H&M is more than just ok, it is a fashionista’s heaven. Secondly, who determines that a store’s only redeeming quality is its colored pants?!
San Antonians, I promise you, you are going to love H&M. For more than just their colored pants. As proof, I’ve included some outfit inspiration for you below. The best part about H&M is scoring on-trend pieces for an absolute bargain. See for yourself:
Total Outfit Cost: $80.75
An entire outfit complete with shoes AND accessories, for $80. When was the last time your bank account cried tears of joy? Well, it’s about to. Head to the Grand Opening on Thursday at noon! I’ll be at the media breakfast beforehand, but you may find me napping in shopping bliss amongst the displays by lunchtime. My good friend Tori is hosting the day’s activities, and they’ve got a really cool recycling initiative that can earn you 15% off on your entire purchase!
So what do you say? Shopping date to H&M soon? Call me, text me, whatever you want. I’ll be there. 🙂
P.S. I am receiving a complimentary outfit from H&M in exchange for this post. Don’t worry though, my love for H&M is real. 🙂
