I love my kids with a passion, but I also love a girls night. Especially when it happens to kick off at Agave Apartments in downtown San Antonio. This is the urban, chic life I can totally imagine in an alternate life. Some day it may shock my children to know that their mother enjoyed other things besides cleaning up after them, but I find it’s essential for my wellbeing to have some time to myself. Throw in my bestie Tori from ThesTORIbook.com and it’s a night for the books!
We kicked off the evening hanging in the cool resident’s lounge at Agave, just steps from the Riverwalk and with gorgeous views of the downtown skyline. Those who live at Agave have access to a modern media room, game room, and kitchen all set up on the first floor for a fun sense of community. Walking by the infinity pool I can totally picture the summertime parties that must take place on Saturday mornings, lounging by the pool and letting San Antonio’s urban hustle and bustle hum around you.
When it was time for bubbly, which, honestly, is ALL the time, we headed up to one of the furnished units to tour their balcony views and spacious interiors. I actually miss having female roomies in college, that sense of camaraderie that only comes when you get a bunch of girlfriends together. Tori and I would certainly get up to some mischief if we lived at Agave together!
I honestly can say I love San Antonio, I love downtown, and I love the idea of living at Agave. You may remember we visited here once before at their grand opening and had a blast. This time around we got to see the nightlife side of Agave, and it’s just as much fun! We headed off to Battalion for dinner and literally could have walked home after drinks if this luxury apartment complex was home. Too much fun, and too much FOOD! This is the life!
