Now, drumroll please, we have selected our four finalists, one from each major market in Texas! I am proud to announce the Haute in Texas finalist is……………..Beverly Ingle! CONGRATS BEVERLY!

Southern Soul: What makes you a Southern Soul?
Beverly Ingle: I am my husband’s partner, a college football fanatic, a fierce mama and a steel magnolia with a deep appreciation of family, history and legacy, all wrapped up in a sassy bow. Yet I can “bless your heart” in the blink of an eye if necessary.
SS: What are three words that describe you as a Southerner?
BI: Egalitarian – from janitor to CEO, everyone is worthy of receiving kindness and respect. Passionate – whether discussing the recipe for the best deviled eggs or the state of Texas politics, a strong opinion is involved. Quirky – every Southern woman has quirks; the best of us embrace them.
SS: Tell us what you love about the South and why.
BI: I love the South for its unique mix of cultures, histories, traditions, passions, pastimes and celebrations.
Way to go, Beverly, all your responses were so honest and heartfelt!
