I may be in Mexico for another week, but even here we’re starting to feel a bit of a chill in the air.  When it comes to winter weather, my biggest beauty complaint is the dry, itchy, skin that seems to plague me from November to March.  You know it’s getting bad when you pull on panty hose and flakes of dry skin go fluttering off your legs.  TMI?  Sorry about that. 🙂 Over the years, I developed my favorite remedies for my face, lips, and body, and I’m curious to hear what you’ve come up with as well!

1) Face – Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

This may be the most popular product in the history of face moisturizers, so if you haven’t heard of its wonders I will be shocked.  When they say gel, they really mean it, as it doesn’t feel like a sticky, thick mess on your complexion.  Rather, it blends in flawlessly, does its job, and leaves nothing irritating behind.  What’s not to love?

2) Lips – Burt’s Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil

Plenty of people know how fantastic Burt’s Bees products are, but not many know that they make a tinted lip balm as well.  For my pale complexion, I always prefer a little bit of color on my pucker, and this balm is the best at providing moisture on top of a pretty pink hue.  Plus, it’s 100% natural!

3) Body – Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion

Now, I know not everyone in the world is pregnant right now, but after I started using this lotion on my lovely stretch marks, I have officially decided it will be in my beauty routine forever, stretch marks or not.  It’s smooth, not too think, and smells delicious.  It actually has helped somewhat with my stretch marks, and I’ve also noticed various scratches leave less of a mark on my skin.  My skin is smooth, even if I miss a few days, which is certainly saying something because I take HOT showers.  Therefore, my skin should be dried out, but it has miraculously maintained it’s smoothness despite the scalding temperatures.

What products do you use for your face, lips, and body?  Any products you want to warn us about?

XO,
