The best drugstore lipstick ever

How many times have you made a drugstore impulse buy only to instantly regret it? The quality is just “meh”, the results promised weren’t delivered, and you end up burning more cash than if you had just bought a higher end product to begin with.  I love MAC lipstick, but I also have a not-so-secret affinity for a brand that costs 1/3 of the price.

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter is smooth, easy peasy to apply, and it comes in enough colors for every day of the month.  Here’s my top five favorite shades:

1. Berry Smoothie – This one is the best for every day wear.  If it wears off, it leaves just a hint of color that matches my natural lip color almost perfectly.

2. Juicy Papaya – It’s coral, without being too coral. Perfect for fun summer outfits.

3, Sweet Tart – A pretty girly pink that goes great with a little lace and a neutral eye.

4. Candy Apple – Red can be a tricky color to pull off, but this one makes it much less intimidating.  It also fades without leaving an ugly ring of color around your lips.

5. Creme Brulee – If you’re going for a nude lip, this is your shade.  It gives just a hint of shine with a gorgeous neutral color that gives you that simple dewy lip to pair with a bold eye.

There’s plenty of other shades for you to try, and the best part is you won’t break the bank.  And you don’t have to make a special trip to the mall to pick one up, there right there in the grocery store or pharmacy.  I pretty much sneak in at least one new shade every couple of trips to HEB.
