In honor of Valentine’s Day rapidly approaching, I thought we’d celebrate something we can all relate to: looking our best for the husbands who’ve won us, the losers who’ve lost us, and the lucky bastards who’ve yet to meet us.  Ok, I totally stole that toast from The Wedding Date, but sue me if that’s not a great quote.  It also just so happens that all these beauty products work best in pairs.  In fact, they LOVE each other. See what I did there? Their effects are amplified when they’re used together, and I think you’ll find they’re maybe even a better bet than your significant other remembering to buy you flowers on February 14th.

Roc Retinol beauty products reviews

1. Roc Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream & ROC Deep Wrinkle Daily Moisturizer

The more time we spend in Cancun, the more vital I’m finding my preventative skincare routine.  I like that this combo from ROC gives me a night AND day lotion that will function seamlessly together, and they’re both non-greasy, easily absorbed formulas.  And I’ve heard that if your anti-aging methods DON’T include retinol, they’re basically useless, so rest assured these options pack a wrinkle-free punch.

DIORSHOW mascara beauty products

2. Christian Dior Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum & Christian Dior Diorshow Extase Flash Plumping Mascara

I actually tried a sampler of this Dior lash serum for the Women Who Rock event with Neiman Marcus, and I had to immediately go back for the full size.  It’s the best plumping and lengthening primer that you’ll find without a prescription.  I swipe it on right before I apply my Dior Extase mascara, which is the ultimate of Dior mascaras in my opinion.  It also contains loads of nutrients and lash boosting fairies (very technical term) that will make your eyes pop like never before.

Kerastase beauty products

3. Kerastase Forme Fatale Voluptuous Blow-Dry Strong Hold Gel & Kerastase Elixir Ultime Beautifying Oil Cream

My stylist Cyndi at Alta Moda Salon in the Rim actually turned me on to this fabulous duo.  She was simply giving me a blow out after my usual cut and color and quicky added the blow dry gel, then the oil cream onto my mane.  When she was done my hair had bounce like the Ben Affleck movie and shine like the top of the Chrysler building.  I brought home a bottle of each for myself that day, and they are a must every time I style my own hair now.  You can even use the beautifying cream after you’re done to tame fly aways and perfect your style. The combination gives you everything you’ve ever wanted for your hair, and it’s good for your strands to boot.
