ASK A(9)

Who here is good at math? If I’ve been uploading these “ASK A” YouTube vlogs once a month, and today is episode 12, how long have I been doing them? If you said one year, congratulations, you win a giant virtual hug from me! 😉 I actually didn’t even realize it had been that long, but when I went back to check yesterday I couldn’t believe the first episode went live on June 3, 2015! How’s that for excellent timing, even if it was a complete coincidence! 🙂

To be honest, I had no idea how much work goes into creating a video before I got started on this series. I thought I would just plop down in front of my computer, talk for a few minutes, and press a button to get it online. Dear me, was I wrong. It takes editing, sound mixing, graphic design work, and Lord knows it was only on THIS episode that I finally figured out how to create a custom thumbnail on YouTube. I’m still working out the kinks recording with my DSLR instead of my laptop’s webcam, so please continue to forgive the so-so video quality. I’m not exactly Steven Spielberg over here. Anyways, this is all probably overly technical information that you couldn’t care less about, but what I’m trying to say is thanks for sticking around during my growing pains, and understanding that one a month was just about all my limited skills could handle!

Hopefully through all these episodes you feel like you’ve gotten to know me a little bit better, and hopefully it’s actually been useful in answering some questions or giving you something to think about regarding a subject you might not have cared about before. We’ve covered a lot of ground, including Zika virus, social media strategies, and hair color choices!

For today’s episode, I thought we would mix it up and hand the microphone over to Cora. I know most of you have probably seen those toddler questionnaires floating around on Facebook, and I figured a video version with my little firecracker would probably be half-hilarious, half-enlightening. She did not disappoint. Watch below for the full, exclusive interview with my favorite four-year-old, and let me know if you’d prefer the series be ASK CORA from here on out instead! 😉
