After my initial post on 5 minute mom makeup, I realized that this doesn’t necessarily have to apply to JUST moms.  Really it’s for anyone who is in a hurry, or doesn’t want to invest a major portion of their day on makeup.  Today we’re ramping it up just a bit to fifteen minutes.  Still not a lot, but maybe a look for when you’re headed out for date night, or going to an evening event where you want just a little va-va-voom.  I did exactly the same process for my five minute makeup, but just added in the products below.  Take a look and let me know what you think!

1. MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Invisible Cover Foundation

I use this foundation when I want a little more coverage.  In the photo I’m wearing the shade 120, or Soft Sand, but I honestly probably need something just a hair darker for summer.  During the winter, however, it blends perfectly and lasts all day.

2.Skindinavia The Makeup Primer Spray, Oil Control

I should probably take two seconds and use this primer no matter what, but somehow it always slips my mind when I’m in a rush.  If I take the time, however, it helps my makeup stay in place and keeps my skin feeling refreshed.

3.Anastasia Brow Wiz – Soft Brown

I’ve raved about the Brow Wiz before, but again it’s one of those things that I cross off my list if I need to save a few minutes.  But it’s so easy to use, anyone can give their brows a little extra pizazz and not walk out the door looking like a clown.  Fist bump.

4.Laura Mercier Lip Pencil, Plum Berry

If I’m going to be rocking a bold lip, I always try to line my lips with this flattering yet subtle shade to give my pucker some definition.  It blends well with almost any lipstick, so I don’t have to worry about a less-than-flattering two-tone look.

5.Benefit Cosmetics Watt’s Up! Soft Focus Highlighter for Face

To get that dewy, sun-kissed glow all year round, I use this highlighter just in between the end of my eyebrow and the beginning of my cheek in a slight “C” shape.  Then I blend it with the handy applicator on the other end of the stick and voila! Instant glam.

6.NARS Semi-Matte Lipstick, Jungle Red

My go to shade when I want a little something extra.  I always pair it with a low-key eye, but it’s perfect for both a daytime business appointment and an evening soiree.  And it’s one of NARS’ most iconic shades, so you can trust it’s worth every penny.

7.Kevyn Aucoin The Eyelash Curler

I received this baby in my swag bag at last year’s Makeup Show, and it’s honestly the best eyelash curler I’ve ever used.  I don’t know what it is about the way it’s shaped, the power of it’s pressure, or what, but it whips my lashes into shape in no time.

8.Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner, Blackest Black

I wasn’t able to find this exact eyeliner, but the link above is pretty much the same concept.  I love a little bit of a cat eye to spruce up my look and add just a smidge of sex appeal.  Everybody love a lady with a great winged eyeliner, right? It just oozes style.

9.Urban Decay Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette

The holy grail of makeup.  The Naked eye shadow palette.  I’ve had mine for almost a year now and I can’t even count the number of combinations I’ve created with its 12 different shades.  I usually go with a lighter brown all over my lids, then a darker option along my crease, and finish with a highlight underneath my eyebrow and at my tear duct.  It’s still efficient, but makes everything look slightly more polished.

So there you have it! Add these options to my five minute tutorial, and you’ll spend just ten more minutes to look a whole lot more fab.  Woot woot!
